We enter Gen V with plenty of violence-Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) has a particularly bloody origin story-and superhero lewdness, but the most memorably vulgar moment of the show's three-episode premiere comes in the back end of Episode 1, 'God U.' but they're going to make sure we look at a penis or two on the way to the point.
Mainly, that's in terms of lewd, shocking moments-but moments that come nonetheless (most of the time, at least) with meaning and purpose behind them. GEN V MAY be a different show from Prime Video's main, flagship The Boys series, but it's clear from the very get-go that this college-set superhero satire spinoff is picking up right where we left off.
